Total Touch adds Delivery, QR Code, & Dual Pricing

Enhancements to speed up checkout and improve delivery

Version Highlight – Total Delivery

Total Delivery is designed to help restaurants offer speedy service and streamline their entire delivery process. Current features of this highlight include:

• The ability to track orders by driver or time.
• Allows restaurants to modify delivery pricing based on a geofenced area.
• Allows drivers to pick up orders and operate without managerial oversight.
• Integrated with Google Maps to plan the best routes.
• Prints a short receipt for drivers to verify the order.
• Prints a QR code at the bottom of the short receipt, which will open directions on the driver’s device when scanned.

Future enhancements to watch for include: 

• The ability to track drivers in route.
• Customer alerts for the estimated time of delivery or real-time updates. Two-way messaging between the driver and customer will also be available.
• Allow drivers to settle checks on the delivery tool. (This is currently only available on the point of sale system.)
• Calculate delivery zones on the point of sale system when an order is placed. (This is currently only viewable/calculated on the delivery tool.)

Version Highlight - QR Code Check Settlement

The new QR Code Check Settlement function of Total Touch will give customers more control over their dining experience. Current features of this highlight include:

• The option to print a QR Code at the bottom of the receipt for customers to settle their check themselves.
• Takes the burden of check settlement off the service staff.

Future enhancements to watch for include:

• The ability for customers to order food at their table via QR code.
• Include table assignments via QR code to help streamline the ordering and serving process.

Version Highlight – Dual Pricing Program Enhancements

We are pleased to announce enhanced functionality of the Total Touch POS back office to support our Dual Pricing program. These enhancements will allow specific descriptors to be included on the customer guest check, complying with the VISA and Total Touch Dual Pricing requirements.
