1. Conversion to SQL Server

  • Version 2.5 incorporates Structured Query Language (SQL) for performance, future flexibility, and reliability. The conversion to a SQL server makes file access significantly faster.

2. Settle Terminals Simultaneously

  • With version 2.5, multiple PAX terminals can be settled simultaneously. This is an enhancement from previous versions, which required each PAX terminal to be settled individually at the close of business.

3. The following features have been enhanced for better performance and efficiency:

  • Back-Office Reporting: Added enhanced diagnostic reporting to back office.
  • Coupons: Enhanced the loading performance of coupons for back of house.
  • Credit Card Structure Verbiage: Enhanced verbiage to indicate when a credit card structure is not in the database.
  • Data Pushing: Optimized data pushing for cloud reporting.
  • Menu Item Modifiers: Enhanced the performance of loading modifiers related to a menu item.
  • Modifier Groups: Enhanced the performance of loading modifier groups.
  • PAX Error Message: Enhanced the error message to indicate if PAX terminal needs to be connected.
  • Replaced PAX Code: Removed ‘PAX AUTH/POSTAUTH’ and replaced it with ‘SALE/VOID SALE’.
  • UPC Lookup: Enhanced performance of the retrieval process for both front and back of house.
